**Description of position**:
Position: Coffee Shop Manager

Location: The Pantry

Small coffee shops based in the Southern Suburbs, we currently have a vacancy

for a floating manager for our four stores.

**The right applicant will**:
Have their own vehicle.

Have experience in managing restaurants or coffee shops.

Have strong administrative skills including stock controls and costings.

Be self-motivated and driven to increase sales.

Have exceptional leadership skills.

Have a good understanding of South African employment laws.

Have food production/cooking skills

A qualification in hospitality management would be preferable (applicants

trained on the job may be considered).

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring efficiency and excellent service.
- Lead, motivate, and support the team to achieve their best.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and stock checks.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff attendance.

**Experience**:

- 2+ Years in similar position
- Prior management experience necessary
