Looking for the autonomy to steer your own ship?

As a highly successful division of a larger property services group, the security and guarding team is well established and already employs 7,000 staff across South Africa. Since their current executive leadership is reaching retirement age, they are looking to employ a leader of the Security industry in SA who will be able to leverage the greater group to increase both turnover and profitability.

This pivotal role will have a dual focus; daily operational management and strategic organisational improvement. It will fall to you then to ensure that the current structure and systems are maximised by identifying and implementing technological, reporting, marketing & technical opportunities to ensure the company is at the forefront of industry developments. In taking full responsivity for the profit & loss of this large team, it is essential that you have a minimum of 15 years' experience in guarding services in a business management role. You will move easily between the worlds of client interaction and staff management, and will be a well known face in the Secuity Association of SA, where this role will add value at a board level.

Based either in Durban or in Johannesburg, you can expect regular travel, clear targets and a KPI linked guaranteed bonus as well as growth linked incentives.
