**PRIMARY PURPOSE**

To check in golfers, make bookings and assist with golf department administration.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Answering telephones, make golf reservations or bookings.
- Check-in players on arrival for their golf rounds.
- Receive and record payments from players for their golf rounds and charge member accounts. Charge no shows.
- Cash up at the end of the shift. This is to be checked and signed by the manager on duty.
- Open tee sheets in advance to book or reserve time for schools, Club Captain, Chairman and Ladies Captain. Allocate competitions and trophy events on tee sheets.
- Assist with planning of club events.
- Daily reports to be sent to management.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as allocated by management from time to time.
- Report weather daily on Jonas.
- Assisting with handicap enquiries, administration and ordering of handicap cards.
- Tee sheet management - check for possible problem areas/issues.

**QUALIFICATION**
- Matric/Tertiary qualification (an advantage)
- Computer Literate

**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS**

Friendly, presentable, reliable, trustworthy, and work well under pressure, good telephonic etiquette, strong communication skills & proficient in English, customer service skills.

**MINIMUM / PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Golf knowledge beneficial
