**Job Purpose**
- The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government seeks to employ a qualified and competent individual to promote sound labour relations, manage the capacity building of officials in respect of employment law and develop employee relations guidelines applicable to people management in the Public Service.
**Minimum Requirements**
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) In Labour Relations, Human Resource Management or Law; A minimum of 3 years experience as a labour relations officer or similar field.
**Recommendation**
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

**Key Performance Areas**
**Competencies**
**Knowledge of the following**:Public Service Act; Public Service Regulations; Labour Relations Act; Human Resource Management processes.
**Skills needed**: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ; Planning and execution; Communication skills (written and verbal); Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to manage the training process as well as facilitating.
**Remuneration**
**R 468 459 - R 561 894 per annum (Salary level 9)**
