The Brand Strategist will work across our platform teams to generate compelling creative ideas, strategic proposals based on insight and measurable solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sustain a track record and commitment to developing global/regional creative strategies that achieve brand objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Perform and present monthly Brand Strategic reviews to ensure consistent learning and optimisation of all content initiatives
- Lead and own relationships with agency / client partners
- Stay-up-to-date on project, platform and product developments
- Have a rigorous and inquisitive mindset, with the ability to analyse a tangled range of inputs, identify what is missing and synthesise into clear findings.
- Ability to translate research findings into guiding principles and actionable strategic plans.
- Build strong relationships with account executives, sales leads and managers at Ad Dynamo
- Keep up-to-date with client audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns
- Sharp business acumen and professional maturity. Self-starter that has a relentless passion for knowing more and doing their best work, balanced with a deep respect for the skills that others bring to the table.
- Data-driven thinking
- Creative energy and drive to think outside of the box. Leads ideation and brainstorming sessions internally and externally that extract fresh thinking from attendees and results in actionable next steps.
- A strong communicator. You don't compile slides - you know the client's challenge and develop a narrative that makes them feel heard, delivers against their objectives, and illuminates creative potential and measurable business value.
- Resourceful. You truly enjoy every aspect of the process and can drive all elements in a project from end to end.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of marketing or advertising agency, media company or publisher with a digital focus, or related experience; social and mobile experience a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing.
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree/equivalent in marketing and/or communication.
- Understanding of Twitter and ability to leverage this platform to create innovative brand experiences.
- Must be passionate about Twitter in Africa.
- Experience leading and managing clients, accounts with a high degree of accountability and stakeholder management.
- Experience in building creative digital media programs at scale that drive brand awareness and high user engagement.
- Detailed working knowledge of Keynote & PowerPoint.
- Desire to stay current on new digital advertising technologies and other platform-related ecosystem partners and their capabilities.
- Ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects and to adjust to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines, and project goals.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking ability.
- Good leadership qualities
