Responsible all revenue and income journals, analysis, and reporting, with necessary supporting details.
- Responsible for all admin, selling, and general expense accounting, analysis, and reporting, with supporting information.
- Responsible for sundry invoicing, with all necessary supporting details.
- Preparing output VAT schedules for submission to the Tax Department.
- Preparing provisions for revenue and income, and related reconciliations.
- Preparing provisions for admin, selling, and general expenses, and related reconciliations.
- Analyzing and reporting monthly canteen expenses.
- Sales balancing and invoicing close at month end.
- Intercompany confirmations for entities within the group
- Actively involved in internal and external audits related to these processes.
- Completing ad hoc tasks as needed.
- An accounting related qualification (minimum diploma)
- A sound understanding of basic accounting principles and IFRS standards
- Experience in a finance department in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literacy, with strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to perform in a fast paced, high pressured environment
