We are looking to employ an experienced Hostess who will ensure that customers have a positive experience at our restaurant by giving excellent customer service.

This role seeks a confident and persuasive person with good communication skills who will be able to deal with customers daily.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- General hostess duties (greet customers as they walk in)
- Serving Customers
- Helping Customers with reservations and guiding them to their tables.
- Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
- Follow-up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process.
- Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer.
- Meet sales goals as set by management.
- Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates.
- Receive all incoming calls.
- Create and process customer quotations timeously.

**Educational and experience requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Any relevant qualification/Certificate
- At least 3 years of customer service/sales (selling & marketing experience) in the Hospitality industry.
- Individual needs to be a self-starter, must be self-motivated, energetic, persuasive, and very confident.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Flexible to work alternative shifts.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license
- No criminal record

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of industry software used for reservations and point of sales.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to engage with customers and prioritise their experience.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and well in a team.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From R8 000,00 per month
