**Job Description** Role Overview**: We are seeking a dynamic Channel Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will build strong relationships with key internal and external partners and drive revenue growth for our Standards business. You will provide guidance and support for LGC Reference Materials and Analytical Standards product lines, focusing on our standard distributor segment accounts.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage all Standard Distributor segment accounts within the assigned geography.
- Represent the entire LGC Standards product portfolio to new and existing partners across EMEA.
- Assist distribution partners and resellers through various communication channels to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow up on quotations, and drive new sales.
- Optimize transaction efficiency by guiding customers through our web shop, providing support, troubleshooting assistance, and implementing standard processes.
- Identify and develop new and existing distribution partners with high growth potential, transforming them into strategic partners.
- Use LGC’s sales tools and virtual capabilities to prospect, nurture, close opportunities, and conduct ongoing territory planning.
- Achieve sales quotas for the assigned territory, working with team memebers as needed.
- Collaborate with quoting teams to ensure timely follow-up on new customer and product-price requests.

**Qualifications** Qualifications**:
- Scientific background and formal qualification in sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Life Science/Biotech, Environmental/Food/Life sciences, Industrial sciences, chemistry, etc. preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role for technical products used in research and/or analytical laboratories.
- Flexible individual with a strong desire to succeed in a commercial environment.
- Customer-focused with high-level customer service capabilities.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in generating and managing leads.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Teammat with a supportive attitude towards colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CRM and Excel is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong English skills; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
