**Job Summary**: Our private client has developed, owns, and manages a multi-billion-rand portfolio of retail, residential and office properties dotted around the country. With an impeccable track record, healthy balance sheet and blue-chip investment partners, they are in the fortunate position of being invited to invest in or develop additional schemes. Whilst they have historically outsourced all professional services, they are looking to have the final stages of development brought in-house. For this, they are seeking an experienced site agent.

As the Site Agent you will be responsible for the overall construction of the works in the latter stages of development. Ensuring that construction activities are completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and building regulations, on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard. To specify, you will be doing the programming of the works and overseeing all construction activities, ensuring that all works are well planned and carried out in a proper work sequence. As part of the expectations, you will ensure the timeous procurement & delivery of all construction materials for the works. Being on site, you are responsible for the construction budget and cost control as well as routine construction supervision to monitor productivity, quality, and adherence to design. As the go - to person on site, you are also responsible for analysing, interpreting design drawings & details, and providing technical guidance. It is imperative that you check & ensure that quality control standards are implemented and being adhered to, this means that you will monitor construction safety, health and environmental compliance during the construction works. Additionally, you will attend the chair site meetings and keep site records.

To be suited to this role you will require a bachelor’s degree in construction management/ building science or any related field, at least 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position, a registration with SACPCMP and must reside in and around the Pretoria/Centurion area.
