**Role Overview**:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Reporting Controller to join our team and assist the Senior Reporting Controller in the design and implementation of management reports across the organisation. This is a key role that will enable the management team to make informed financial and operational decisions by providing comprehensive data analysis and effective reporting solutions.

As a Reporting Controller, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that financial and operational data is captured accurately, integrated seamlessly, and reported in a way that supports strategic decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Management Reporting**:

- Assist in preparing and delivering management reports for the trading, development, and investment companies.
- Work with stakeholders to design and update financial report templates, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure reports are aligned with predefined KPIs, include executive summaries, visual aids (graphs and statistics), and offer insightful analysis and conclusions.
- Roll out and automate the delivery of reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, ensuring data accuracy and integration with the company system.
- Liaise with managing agents to ensure the timely submission of financial reports, ground rent schedules, and other required documentation.
- Handle council tax, business rate, and utility bill reconciliations for leased units, ensuring correct billing and payment processes.
- Maintain oversight of freeholder loan schedules and ensure proper tracking and reporting of related financial transactions.

**Data Integrity & Record Keeping**:

- Manage month-end procedures to ensure timely and accurate data reconciliation.
- Identify gaps in training or system errors affecting data quality, and work to address these issues.
- Ensure all management reports are filed and archived in the company’s records.

**ERP System & Internal Controls**:

- Map data flow processes and identify potential bottlenecks in the reporting pipeline.
- Work with the Ops/IT department to improve and streamline of the company system, ensuring data can be captured and processed efficiently.
- Suggest system improvements, modifications, and new solutions to enhance reporting processes and back-office operations.

**Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis**:

- Respond to ad-hoc data requests and ensure timely delivery of requested reports, within predefined targets (24 hours for simple queries, 5 days for complex requests).
- Maintain trackers to monitor progress and ensure all reports are delivered as requested.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years in a reporting or financial analysis role, preferably within a fast-paced environment (real estate, construction, or investment sectors would be advantageous).
- **Technical Skills**: Strong proficiency in Excel, financial reporting, and data analysis. Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
- **Organisational Skills**: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify issues, resolve them promptly, and recommend improvements to processes.

Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
