**Requirements**:

- 3 years experience in export of perishables.
- Knowledge of flowers required.
- Strong skills in financial analysis.
- Computer literate. In particular Excel and Microsoft. Knowledge in software such as Florisoft advantageous. A fast learner that is able to pick up new systems and software.
- Self driven to drive sales and develop export. - Strong financial acumen. - Well organised and fast past to action
- Code B drivers licences
- Cape Town based (Needs to be on site, semi-remote)
- Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally.

**Responsibilities**

**Sourcing Product**: Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents and vendors.

**Airfreight**: Negotiate shipping contracts, freight rates and freight forwarding agreements along with the head office. Monitor shipment volume and increase volume with freight forwarders. Phyto generation

**Order fulfilment**:by liaising with growers and colleagues world wide. Ensuring an assortment and price list generation. Quality control

**Operational Management**:Oversee the total export operations and team (process from start to finish). Including problem solving, documentation, financial admin etc.

**Data Analysis**:Strong data analysis of sales, targets, financial analysis and reporting.

**Strategic Planning**:Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs (new markets etc).

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Export: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

**Location**:

- Cape Town, Western Cape (required)
