**Dispatch Operations Manager - Gauteng - Riverfields**

**The Opportunity**:
An opportunity has occurred for the role of Dispatch Operations Manager who oversees the dispatching of goods end to end and ensures a smooth flow out of the facility by planning and ensuring that we meet all delivery SLAs.

**Responsibilities**:

- The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for monitoring the delivery details, ensuring that all the cartons and the orders are being sent out to the customers timeously and efficiently.
- To engage, network and communicate with internal stakeholders, vendors, suppliers and stores to ensure swift query resolution and improved business performance.
- Achieve and drive the KPI’s relating to accuracy, speed, cost and compliance within the Distribution Centre.
- Manage and plan the day-to-day operations of your department.
- Planning unit flow against capacity and priority.
- Resource planning and manning.
- Turnaround time of inbound trucks.
- Managing supplier conformance.
- Liaise with other internal departments on daily production plans.
- Liaise with internal customer around stock flows.
- Review and improve distribution processes and workflows to create efficiencies.

**Requirements**:

- Matric and relevant tertiary qualification e.g. BCom / Logistics
- Experience: 5 years minimum
- Technical knowledge/experience: Transport and Logistics experience
- Systems knowledge: Proficiency in Ms Office and strong ability to work in Excel, WMS.
