The main purpose of the role is to identify and monitor training needs in the Service Desk department, thereafter ensuring that continuous training is implemented. Managing the success of the training programs implemented.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The IT Support Trainer will be required to execute the following duties and responsibilities, but not limited to the below.
- Identifying and assessing the training needs of the the service desk department.
- Developing individualized and group training programs that address specific service desk training requirements.
- Developing training manuals that target tangible results.
- Implementing effective and purposeful training methods.
- Assessing agent’s skills and performance to identify areas of improvement.
- Effectively communicating with Management and reporting back on the training progress.
- Managing the technologies required to develop, manage and deliver training.
- Keeping abreast of training trends, developments and best practices.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- 3-5 years’ training experience within a service desk environment.
- Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology or relevant qualification.
