**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Regional Training Cash Solutions**
**Job purpose**:to provide first-line training and support to the Cash Centre staff, Cash Centre Manager, Supervisors and Tellers. Financial Training, Audit Requirements, Filing, Archiving and Risk Management to Cash Centre Managers also included. To provide support relating to all products and commodities to entire staff structure of a Cash Centre branch. Train users to utilize all processing systems for all commodities.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Up to 2 years’ experience in a similar role or Cash Centre experience.
- Own transport required
- Knowledge of all processing and capturing platforms within Cash Centres
- Knowledge of the operating and daily preventative maintenance of Cash Centre equipment i.e. Julongs / GPT’s etc.
- Knowledge of the Cash Centre operations
**Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive)**:
- All new appointments must be trained on site by the Regional Trainer i.e., Tellers / Supervisors and Cash Centre Managers
- Refresher training with all tellers monthly
- Refresher training with all Supervisors monthly
- Refresher training with each branch Cash Centre Managers
- Audit requirements and implementation of all necessary files and documents - ongoing project
- Information on all and any updates on processing platforms to be formalised and communicated to all branches
- Training registers per staff member to be in place for audit purposes
- Portfolio of evidence for each employee per branch to be in place for audit and record purposes
- Maintain head office liaison with regards to daily reporting
- Cash Centre queries and requirements
- Ensure the adherence to all standard operating guidelines within Cash Centres
- Reconciliation and balancing
- Ensure that laid-down procedures regarding the handling and movement of cash are adhered to
- Accurate record keeping within the Centre
- Subordinate effectiveness, motivation and teamwork
- Laid-down risk control and security procedures always adhered to
- Operating losses at a minimum
- Mitigating Risk and Avoidable losses by checking the SOP’s when branch visits are conducted
- Always required to follow laid-down policies and procedures
- Planning is generally on a daily to weekly basis within regular activity cycles
- Undertake basic trend analysis of cash usage
- Able to take the initiative within limits of authority
**Administration**
- Assists with development of training manuals and procedures
- Assists with the compilation of procedural documentation
- Reports on system availability, trends and maintenance to the Regional Manager
