Position title : ACCESS CONTROL ADMINISTRATOR

Position reports to : OPERATIONS MANAGER: SECURITY

Business Unit : FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

**Main purpose / objective of the position**:

- Key Control_
- Categorising and labelling of all keys issued & duplicate as well the safekeeping of all duplicate
- & high-risk keys.
- Maintaining of strict control with regards the issuing & safekeeping of all high-risk keys
- Replacing of lost or damaged keys.
- Handling of lost keys and broken locks.
- Cutting of own duplicate keys.
- Attending of applicable operational meetings
- Attend to work orders issued by Facilities Helpdesk & adhere to the prescribed completion time limits.
- Maintenance of emergency equipment_
- Maintenance & installing of safety symbolic signs and fire fighting equipment. Provide service to Sanlam HO, Santam HO, Glacier Place (Only Glacier & Santam Departments only) and authorised local external Sanlam & Santam offices.
- General administration_
- Maintaining and updating of key inventory of all applicable keys & lock series.
- Recordkeeping of the issuing of official building keys to authorised persons on daily or long-term basis.
- Provide monthly reports to Management
- Audits_
- Conducting of regular/routine audits on applicable stations/service providers/ individuals which handle official keys.
