- The inventory coordinator supports the inventory team in projects and processes in the field of inventory and product range controlling of the pick-up shops.- He/She is in charge of the following:
- Planning the initial stocking of new pick-up shops- Inventory requirements relating to modifications and relocations of existing pick-up shops- All types of analyses of inventory and product range- Product range optimization- Launch and evaluation of test product ranges in cooperation with the Divisional Leaders- Data management in SAP including the determination and granting of posting authorizations- Contact for pick-up shop staff in the field of inventory and product range-related questions- Working as the link between Pick-up Shops, Logistics & Purchasing departments- Compilation of guidelines and supervision of permanent stocktaking- Supervision of scrap rate for chemicals- Preparation of code lists for inventory management- Preparation of requirements for the assignment of storage locations- Material flows and material organization within the pick-up shops- Handling of returns in the pick-up shops (Scrapping/Damaged Goods)- Compilation of guidelines for the presentation of merchandise and pick-up shop layouts- Implementation of new stocktaking procedures- Regular execution of assortment meetings to optimize the pick-up shop assortment (min twice per year)- Cooperation in terms of Pick-up Shop Auditing relating to Inventory & product range controlling in conjunction with the Pick-Up Shop Specialist (See Below) Inventory and product range controlling- Execution of inventory sampling procedure- Controlling the storage life of chemicals- Safeguarding the first-in/first-out principle concerning all chemicals- Controlling the expiry dates of all chemicals with the SAP chemicals management system and through physical checks to avoid the scrapping of chemicals- Controlling of materials planning and inventory- Controlling of the types of the movement of goods for correct posting- Controlling of the number of articles, the inventory value and the number of stock turns- Controlling of permanent stocktaking- Keeping to the physical stocktaking intervals- Inventory differences- Safeguarding inventory accuracy in that book inventory balances match the actual inventory levels in the respective pick-up shop- Controlling scrap in general- Controlling incoming and outgoing shipments- Controlling the service level of over-the-counter sales- Ensuring an over-the-counter service degree of more than 92 % thanks to working on the list “TOP-50 articles “(over-the-counter orders with delivery from central warehouse) and the over-the-counter want list on a monthly basis-
**Inherent Requirements**
- Matric or equivalent- Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration/Management or Supply Chain Management- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inventory Management.- Experience and knowledge within the field of pick-up shops would be an advantage.- Very good MS Office skills, primarily Excel- SAP experience will be an advantage- Quick grasp of new concepts, constant willingness to learn and strong sense of responsibility- High level of commitment- Organized and structured working method- Goal Orientated- Good Analytical Skills- Distinctive mathematical understanding- Good Negotiation Skills- Excellent communication skills- Ability and willingness to work in a team- Clear Disciplinary Record- Clear Criminal Record- Clear Credit History**What Qualification**
