**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish, monitor, and maintain forecasting and inventory control policies.
- Prepare forecasts and calculate inventory planning for assigned Distributor Centres on a monthly basis.
- Maintain a monthly statistical forecast report and oversee inventory forecasting for all products, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Continuously improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches based on sales history and projections.
- Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, ensuring adherence to forecasting processes and methods.
- Manage weekly inventory targets (including cover stock levels) approved by management, maintaining appropriate inventories for all Africa Operations.
- Ensure Distributor Centres are stocked with the correct items to avoid over or under supply.
- Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to company
- Directors and Managers weekly.
- Compile Write-Off Reports monthly for allocated Distributor Centres in Africa.
- Compile and manage Back Order Reports weekly for Africa.
- Control the frequency and number of deliveries, planning one bulk shipment per month per Distributor Centre.
- Determine mode of transport for each delivery after receiving three quotes, considering product weight, urgency, and transport cost.
- Minimize back orders by proper planning and follow-up; manage and keep them at an acceptable level.
- Communicate regularly with Distributor Centres on projections, sales, cover inventory negotiation, and timely product receipt.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Ensure effective communication with DC Managers regarding short shelf-life products and share future shipping plans.
- Manage excess and obsolete inventories, as well as stock rebalancing with warehouse managers.
- Communicate with management regarding inventory/delivery issues and priorities.
- Conduct data management, maintaining reports in Excel as necessary.
- Keep all SOPs up to date, evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
- Possess an excellent understanding of Systems.
- Generate daily critical inventory reports and analyse actual sales vs. projected sales.
- Check Distributor Centres inventory levels weekly and communicate with DC Managers.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure on-time product delivery.
- Comply with rules and regulations related to exporting, inspections, registered products, customs, drug authorities, and banned products.
- Communicate the unavailability of packed and locally produced stock for replenishment to the Procurement Department and dispatch it promptly.
- Act on all reasonable instructions given by management.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.**Inherent Requirements**

**Minimum Requirements**
- Grade 12.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification (advantageous but not mandatory).
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (advantageous).
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and practical - essential.
- Strong commitment to corporate goals.
- Working knowledge of SAGE 3 (advantageous).
- Willingness to work additional hours.
- Computer literate.
- Excel skills are advantageous.
