Business unit, Department, Reporting Business Unit Operate Department PaaS and SaaS Job grade/level S5 Core Description
Responsible for design, implement and deploy SAP ERP solutions for sales, including sales-order management cycle and post-sales activities, all business transactions in SAP Sales and Distribution relative to Pricing and billing and Customer Service component. Participating in the scoping and implementation of large and complex SAP SD Solutions for clients. Ensure that end to end implementations and support services meet client requirements. Responsible for preparation and contribution to the process design and configuration. Provides direction to other consultants and may have supervisory responsibilities when required Key Deliverables / Primary Functions Complete SAP Sales and Distribution projects and deliver quality solutions to clients in time, within budget and to agreed scope. Ensure projects and solution deliveries have the required documentation, testing plans, etc. Meet deliverable requirements/service level measures/specific targets. Drive and actively participate in designing & developing fit for purpose solutions for clients through obtaining and analysing business requirements and researching best practice (R&D). Ensure that all potential risks that may impact on the performance and success of the department are identified, escalated and mitigated Responsible for building, testing, executing & managing data migrations. Create re-usable solutions, process or work product (Technical/Non-Technical) that can save time, efforts and eliminate errors of self/others. Preload and post load validation of migration results, handle dropouts and advise on data cleansing requirements. Perform migration dress rehearsals, migration cutover tasks and post go-live support. Provide advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues, appropriate data management strategies & techniques. Responsible for implementation of SD framework as per SD architecture using SAP Data Services, Information Steward and Microsoft SQL server Responsible for the creation of technical Specification documents by utilizing SD experience and computer program knowledge which will be used in creation of Data services Jobs Core Functional Skills & Capabilities SAP Tools and Platforms Technology Consulting Customer Focus Product testing and life-cycles Core Behavioural Competencies Job Match Deciding & Initiating Action Adhering to principles and values Delivering Results & Meeting customer expectations Coping with pressures & setbacks Working with people Minimum Qualifications Degree/ Diploma (NQF 6) in Information Technology or similar with a SAP SD Certification. OR NQF 4: Grade 12 Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage Experience 5 years SAP Sales and Distribution SD consulting experience including 2 Full Lifecycle implementations. Familiar with SAP ECC and HANA environments. Expert in investigating and resolving issues related to system performance. Experience in SAP on cloud platforms is preferred.
OR 7 years’ SAP SD consulting experience including 2 Full Life cycle implementations. Certifications SAP SD Certification Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control Span of Control
