Position available in a well-established psychiatric practice based in Durbanville.

**Position**: Full-time, Permanent

**Tasks**:

- All reception and administrative duties at a doctor's practice, including:_
- Booking appointments and managing the diary
- Opening new patient files, organising and filing
- Receiving patients
- Typing letters
- Sending accounts via Med-E-Mass to medical aids, reconciling accounts, doing month-ends, keeping notes on Medi-E-Mass, following up payments by medical aids and patients, and handing over bad debt
- Quotes and invoicing
- Liaising with medical aids and obtaining authorisations
- Liaising with hospital staff
- Other ad-hoc tasks as needed

**Qualifications/experience/skills**:

- Matric essential
- Administrative or another appropriate diploma advantageous
- 5+ Years experience as a medical receptionist, managing medical practise's accounts
- Experience using Med-E-Mass or similar medical billing system
- Good computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English
- Customer focused
- Calm and friendly demeanour
- Hardworking and eager to learn
- Attentive to detail
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Punctual and organised with a forward-thinking approach
- Valid driver's licence with own transport

**Salary**: R14,000 to R21,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience, qualifications and skills.
