HR Business Partner Supervisor Equity

Johannesburg East - Gauteng

Reporting to the HR Manager for South Africa you will be required to provide day-to-day supervision of a few HRBP's and the HR Generalist. Key to your success in the role is your strong IR and Bargaining Council experience gained in the distribution/logistics sector.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

- National Diploma/certificate in HR or similar would be advantageous
- 5 years of HR experience required, of which a minimum of 2 years as an HRBP
- Supervisory skills advantageous
- Must have sound working knowledge of South African legislation, especially the Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act and Skills Development Act
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to use initiative and take the lead
- Be able to adapt to a changing environment
- Own transport
- Computer literate

Key Result Areas:

- Be the first line of contact with EXCO
- Supervise key HR initiatives from inception to completion with the HRBP's
- Ensure HRBP's implement, monitor and control employment equity objectives
- Assist HRBP's in the drafting and implementing of policies
- Work closely with on Union related matters, including but not limited to Union and Bargaining Council negotiations
- Assist HRBP's in chairing / Investigating disciplinary, incapacity and grievance hearings
- Minimize risk to the company by overseeing/managing the various processes followed i.e. grievances, disciplinaries, incapacities, and poor work performance assessments.
- Representation and correspondence with Labour Department, CCMA, Bargaining Council and Trade Unions
- Coordination of all parties involved at the CCMA / NBCRFLI with Trade Unions
- Liaise with the Bargaining Council and Trade Unions regarding matters related to the NBCRFLI main agreement
- Proactively manage onsite TES issues per legislation
- Ensure the team recruits in line with the employment equity strategy for the business
