Are you a versatile Mid-Level Copywriter who has an in-depth understanding of Digital channels? Do you have insight into different markets and what makes consumers tick?

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Summary of main duties include but not limited to**:
Translate a brief and the strategic requirements into a compelling creative solution

Present work to the Creative Director and the Creative Group Head

Together with an Art Director, generate effective, innovative, and compelling creative concepts for individual adverts or campaigns based on sound strategies

Write copy for radio, tv, print and electronic/digital media

Write and produce for radio

Direct and produce effective, impactful, and compelling advertising that reflects insight into the task, the brand, and the target market

Direct radio towards a high-quality final product

Keep abreast of creative trends and opportunities

Take ownership of your tasks and actively manage the creative process to progress towards deadline

**Requirements**:
A tertiary qualification in c opywriting and / o r a dvertising

At least two years’ copywriting experience within an Advertising Agency (retail clients experience - essential)

Proficient in MS Word/PowerPoint/Keynote

Bilingual - a good command of both languages (English and Afrikaans - both verbal and written)

Strong presentation skills

Strong multi-tasking skills

Understand advertising as a selling tool

Ability to work within a team as well as independently

Ability to remain calm in a highly pressurised environment

Assertive

'Out of the box' creative thinking

Resilient and able to accept guidance and respond well to criticism

Meticulous attention to detail

**Minimum relevant experience and skills/attributes required**:
A solid portfolio that reflects Creative Copywriting proficiencies - both ATL and Digital work (we want to see this in your Portfolio - Behance/Wixsite versions)

Understanding of Advertising as a selling tool

Capability to take on campaigns with multi-element tasks which require a concept and a thought through process

Accept guidance and respond well to criticism

Resilient - can accept setbacks

Strong conceptual ability preferred

Great presentation skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Committed collaborative team player

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
