Cape Town position - 8:30am - 5pm; Monday - Friday (in-agency position)

**Key responsibilities include**:
Report to the creative director
Actively participate in creative brainstorm sessions
Collaborate with creative team to interpret and execute briefs and reviews
Copywriting of high quality, engaging, relevant short and long form content for a range of marketing communication channels including website pages, social media, print campaigns, brochures, newsletters and other marketing collateral
Check/proofread copy prior to presentation and in designed execution
Adhere to clients' CI and brand guidelines
Establish, manage and adhere to content guidelines
Research and stay up to date on content trends
Review and interpret content performance analytics for constant improvement
Come up with fresh ideas and approaches to content; push the creative boundaries

**Requirements**:
8-10 years' copywriting experience across various communication platforms and preferably in an agency environment
At least five years' digital copywriting experience
Excellent understanding of the digital environment especially social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube
Good understanding of SEO as it relates to website content
Good understanding of PPC advertising
Sound knowledge of the relevant structures and processes within the agency
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in copywriting for retail clients advantageous
Experience working on project management software such as Chase or Magnetic advantageous
Relevant diploma or degree advantageous
