- MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To generate new business by sourcing leads, prospecting and canvassing in order to grow customer base and maximise the profitability of the company. To achieve and exceed the required target as agreed with the Sales Manager SKILLS Must be fluent in English and at least two languages suitable to the area in which s/he will be working (management discretion to be used here) Strong customer service orientation Basic numeracy The ability to influence, negotiate, close sales and handle objections Time management skills EXPERIENCE Matric Agree with Sales Manager the weekly prospect plan Sell the Company’s loan service to new customers Obtain required/agreed number of leads per day Provide a minimum of 1 approved customers per day Achieve a minimum of 20 prospected leads per day Maintain record of assessed and qualified clients Maintain prospecting diary as per Company Training Manual (Sales section) Attend training as and when required and agreed with Sales Manager Ensure a thorough understanding of all the products offered by the company Manage all customers in terms of Company values ‘From Our Family to Yours’. Participate in all sales related branch meetings Assist Sales Manager with monthly in-store promotions Record prospecting leads on Prospecting Sheet Follow-up on all leads including ‘revived’ older than 12 months Adhere to and comply with all company policy and procedures Carry out all lawful and reasonable instructions that are in line with the previous Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) Adhere to company dress code Present a professional image at all times Name badge to be displayed at all times Ensure adherence to the housekeeping standards of the branch Assist where necessary to maintain these standards Adhere to work hours as per company policy and procedure-
