**Job Title**: Parts Sales

**Reports To**: Parts Manager

The company is a leading importer and reseller of yellow metal equipment, including front end loaders, TLB’s, excavators, skid steer loaders, telehandlers to name a few. The company also stocks tractors, UTV’s, ATV’s, quadbikes, generators and forklifts. The company operates in a dynamic environment, importing products from countries like China and provides after-sales services to clients and dealers.

**Position Overview**:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling yellow metal spare parts to customers in various industries, including construction, mining, agriculture, and heavy machinery. The role involves developing new business, maintaining existing relationships, and achieving sales targets through strategic outreach and exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales and Business Development**:

- Identify and target new business opportunities within the yellow metal spare parts sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and dealers potential clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of spare parts.
- **Sales Administration**:

- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements.
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Process customer invoices on financial system
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:

- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and report on progress toward sales goals.
- Provide regular updates on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Matric qualification or higher
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience in sales within the industrial or spare parts sector for earthmoving, agricultural and materials handling industries.
- Familiarity with yellow metal spare parts and related products.
- **Skills**:

- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical product details and industry-specific requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Hours**: Full-time position; standard office hours with occasional extended hours depending on client needs and operational requirements.
