Senior Architect

**AECOM** is seeking a **Senior Architect** to be based in South Africa's Enterprise Capabilities office in **Cape Town**. This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. As a part of AECOM's culture, it offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement which accommodates both office and out-of-office work schedules.

Here is what you will be doing:
The Senior Architect serves as a fully capable professional in an architectural design team. The Senior Architect plans, (including budget + resources), schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the design work on any/all phases of development on small to medium scale projects (or distinct portions of larger projects), with regular interaction with an Associate or designated senior team member.

**Technical Excellence**:

- Architectural Design, Manage BIM Model and Drawing production (Design Brief compliance, completeness & accuracy)

- Design co-ordination (within Architecture & Cross Discipline), Design co-ordination (within Engineering & Cross Discipline)

- Design Delivery (Design Brief compliance, co-ordination, completeness & accuracy)

- Guiding and management of team & junior staff, Client engagement, Team Leadership, Value Engineering, Mentoring

**Qualifications**

Here is what we are looking for:

- B.Arch or BSc Architecture

- 8+ Years post graduate experience

- Professionally registered as an Architect with SACAP
