We want you to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and be proud of your work. : **Job Purpose** We are looking for a creditors clerk, reporting into the Accounts Payable manager. The Creditors clerk would be responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's accounts payable process. This involves processing and recording invoices, verifying, and reconciling vendor accounts, ensuring that payments are made on time, and managing any discrepancies or disputes with vendors. **Responsibilities**: - Reviewing invoices and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness - Recording and coding invoices in SAP - Reconciling supplier/ vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies in a professional and timeously - Communicating with suppliers/ vendors to resolve disputes or issues related to payments - Preparing and processing payments i.e. electronic transfers, cash - Maintaining accurate records of all transactions related to accounts payable - Ensure that the correct VAT is applied to invoices - Ensuring invoices correlating with the purchase orders and good received notes, with specific reference to quantities, quality, description and price. **Requirements**: - BCom Accounting/ Financial qualification - +- 3 - 5 years of experience in a creditors/ accounts payable role - Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures - Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/ year end close process - Excellent accountant software (SAP - preferrable) user and administration skills. - Attention to detail - Effective communication - Strong computer literacy **Why should you apply?**: - We are passionate about our people and want to offer them the opportunity to develop and grow with us. - You never stop learning.
