Our client is looking for a proactive Creditors Clerk who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and takes pride in precision, follow-through, and strong supplier communication.Our client is a well-established logistics company based on the East Rand, known for reliability, efficiency, and long-standing industry relationships. They are seeking a Creditors Clerk who will own the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensure the accurate processing of supplier invoices, manage reconciliations, and support the finance team with reporting and month-end requirements.This role is ideal for someone who is organised, meticulous, and confident engaging with suppliers while working within a high-volume logistics environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full creditors (AP) function from invoice processing to paymentMatch, batch, and code invoices accuratelyReconcile supplier statements and resolve outstanding queries promptlyPrepare weekly and monthly payment runsMaintain accurate supplier accounts and updated recordsEnsure adherence to payment terms and internal controlsSupport month-end processes, including accruals and AP reportingLiaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepanciesMonitor price variances, PODs, and logistics-related documentation where requiredAssist with finance admin and ad hoc tasks as neededJob Experience & Skills Required:35 years proven experience as a Creditors Clerk or in accounts payableStrong experience with reconciliations and high-volume invoice processingPrevious exposure to logistics, supply chain, or transport environments is advantageousProficient in accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Pastel, SAP or similar)Solid Excel skills and comfortable working with numerical dataExcellent communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliersStrong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA finance or accounting Certificate/qualification is beneficialApply now
