Signal Hill Products is looking for a Distribution Network Planner Position/Title: Distribution Network Planner Reports To: Planning Manager Function: Supply Area: Planning Overall Responsibility: This role will be within the planning team and reporting to the Planning Manager focused on the integration of SHP Logistics into the Liquor Runners operation with specific focus on Stock Holding and replenishment at all Liquor Runners Warehouses. Focus Area 1- Secondary Warehousing Stock Replenishment and Management - Determine Model Stock Holding by Distribution Site - Own and 3rd Party - Integrate with production planning to guide stock movements to own and 3rd Party Sites. - Planning of Tier 1 Stock Movements to Distribution Sites - Own and 3rd Party - Daily Reporting on Stock Holding by Site in Line with Model Stock Holding - Ensure stock holding at 3rd Party Sites is within contractual parameters - Reconcile Cheap Pallet Movements and all Financial Aspects related to 3rd Parties - Support Implementation of Barnton Supply Chain Planning Tool - Transition existing business practices away from Excel to Barnton - Help Develop Metrics that optimise the Tier 1 Support Chain - Stock Age Managed and reported on at Liquor Runners Warehouses - Support Sales Objectives through ensuring Stock Availability of >95% achieved - Support S&OP process through accurate forecasting of demand and integrating with other planning processes Focus Area 2- Financial Metrics Managed - 3rd Party Costs Optimised - Cheap Pallet Account Managed, reconciled and optimised to reduce cost - Liquor Runners Shrinkage Reviewed Monthly and Recharged as per contract Requirements of the Role: - Completed an Industrial Engineering Degree - Strong Analytical Skills - Solution mindset Preferred Skills/Competencies: - Attention to detail - Ability to build processes NB: Specific duties/responsibilities will vary from time to time: the above list is intended to indicate the general nature of the post and is not exhaustive.
