Lead sourcing, analyse industry trends, follow technology evolution, perform market analysis, assess the supply base and perform Supply Positioning & Supplier Referencing analysis to mitigate risks, embrace opportunities, support new product development needs, ensure competitive advantage & supply quality & security.

Negotiate prices of materials and services to achieve minimum costs for the desired quality.

Manage the purchases of direct materials and production services while ensuring cost-effectiveness and maintenance of the required quality standards.

Build and manage sustainable win-win long term relationships with key suppliers & conduct supplier’s performance measurement.

Manage supplier’s database to monitor price levels, activity and history with each supplier.

Manage and follow-up complaints to the suppliers, to improve the provided services.

Exercise cross-functional collaboration & ensure internal customer satisfaction.

Coordinate the activities related to cost optimisation and take relevant actions to sustain the targeted objective: slow moving stock reduction, direct materials cost, localisation projects.

Follow up new products & options implementation projects in terms of BOM cost, potential suppliers, technical specifications requests, samples.

**Slow moving stock management**: continuous follow up, proposal for write off.

Ensure delivery schedules, mitigation plans, and risk reports are in place and available.

Ensure order plans or forecast for material demands are shared with suppliers to match lead times.

Ensure a zero stock out system.

Ensure all contractual requirements are met and in place - all suppliers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Grade 12

University degree - Procurement Management or Logistics (including Purchasing as a major).

Proficient user of the English language

IT literate

**EXPERIENCE**:
6-8 years of relevant experience (preferably in a multinational manufacturing environment).

Working knowledge of ERP systems.

Experience working within a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural business environment.
