**Signal Hill Products is looking for a Shift Quality Technician**

**Position/Title: QA/QC**
**Reports To: Quality Controller**
**Function :Quality**
**Area :South Africa**
**Number of Reports: 0**

**Overall Responsibility**:
The Shift Quality Technician ensure that all company procedures and products meet internal quality standards as well as external regulations

**Focus Area 1:Complete Quality Assurance Audits**
Act as catalysts for change and improvement in performance and quality
Establishing product specifications and quality attributes, measuring production, documenting evidence, and determining operational and performance qualification

**Focus Area 2:QC analysis, Analytical Reporting, Equipment maintenance**
Perform QC analysis to ensure that product meets customer requirement.
Extracts database information and manipulates data into clear reports for management, corporate executives, and clients as needed.
Ensure Lab equipment are maintained and in good operational state.

**Focus Area 3:Maintain and Update Company Procedures and Policies**
Maintains and keeps the policy and procedural manuals up to date.
Conduct training and assessments of shift operators required to carry out QC analysis.

**Focus Area 4 :Food Safety**
Perform Food Safety and Quality related activities as part of the FSMS and QC functions

**Requirements of the Role**
NSC Matric Certificate with Core Maths, Biology, Science
Tertiary degree/diploma in food science, microbiology, analytical or related field.
1year experience in a FMCG environment
Shift Based position

Technical writing
Self-motivated
