Warehouse Operator

**Overview**:
Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse, or storage yard. This position is a key role in our daily warehouse activities as its main objective is to ensure overall stock integrity. Forklift operators are responsible for operating and managing the industrial machinery trucks to load and offload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities

2 yrs warehousing experience preferably in the Chemical Industry

Forklift Drivers Licence is advantageous

Drivers Licence is advantageous

**Duties**:
Transport Transport: goods and supplies on site under supervision to ensure on time delivery of goods and supplies.

Incoming Goods: Deliver basic warehouse and store tasks under supervision to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded in line with agreed procedures.

Outgoing goods: Complete basic packaging tasks and assist others by following established procedures under supervision.

Inventory: Perform basic inventory control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records following established inventory control procedures.

Operating Machine or Equipment: Operate basic equipment and machines, and carry out routine tasks. Involves following strict, detailed instructions.

Document Preparation: Input content into standard templates. Also take responsibility for collating materials and photocopying them.

Work Scheduling and Allocation: Work according to an assigned schedule.

Operational Compliance: Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.

Health, Safety and Environment: Follow basic mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.

Personal Capability Building: Develop and maintain excellent skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

Accurate and safe storage and movement of
stock and stock counts

Responsible for the accurate and correct storage of products as per ISO standards.

Accurate picking of products using the WMS (AX system).

Maintaining the highest levels of inventory accuracies by adhering to the inventory control procedures.

Loading and off-loading of products.

General Housekeeping.

Recording and reporting of damaged or obsolete inventory/stock.

Movement of products using the WMS system.

Stock taking including daily cycle counts.

Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and
supplies to customers or coworkers, based on
information from incoming requisitions.

Compliant stockholding

Ensuring the highest integrity of stock as per ISO standards.

Work safely in a Chemical environment by following and ensuring that the Site rules are complied with and adherence to the Omnia Core Beliefs, policies and procedures.

Stock maintained in a safe, secure environment according to legislation and policies, Keep records on the use or damage of stock or
stock-handling equipment.
