“TRS is urgently looking for a professional Mechanical Engineer needs to render general technical support within the Petrochemical Industry to join our client’s project team based at Natref Refinery, SASOLBURG.”

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare repair procedures and supervise the actual repair work on statutory, equipment, pressure retaining equipment, and other mechanical equipment;
- Re-rating of equipment;
- Render shutdown assistance and after-hour standby services;
- Develop solutions to maintenance problems consistently experienced on vessels tanks, columns, mechanical equipment, rotating equipment, and piping appurtenances. (Engineering Out Maintenance - EOM);
- Condition monitoring on rotating equipment, structures vessels, and piping, (i.e. vibration, crack propagation, displacement, strain, pressure, temperature, efficiency);
- Assist on HAZOP studies on small modifications;
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
- Accredited BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10-20 years’ Mechanical Engineering work experience within Petrochemical Industry.
- Mechanical design and specification of pumps, Heat exchangers, vessels and compressors
