Our client, an international mining house, is seeking a Mineral Resources Superintendent who will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Company's geological data and exploration to provide the Management Team and respective departments with information in order to make strategic decisions.

**Responsibilities**:
Draft and sign-off the Mineral Resource/Ore Reserve Competent Persons Report
Conduct feasibility studies and assessments of new exploration projects
Manage Exploration and Diamond Drilling Projects
Identify Mineral Rights opportunities and ensure recommendations are put in place and implemented
Give input into the development of the Mine Planning and Exploitation Strategy
Acquires processes, interprets and presents geological data for mining complex
Manages the geological database and keeps it in world class standards according to reporting codes (SAMREC)
Provides data required in the preparation of geology reports-, maps, or cross-sections
Research and study reports in order to compile information and data for geological and geophysical prospecting
Assemble, maintain, or distribute information for library or record systems
Set up or direct set-up of instruments used to collect geological data
Manage the various software licenses
Provide input into the compilation of geological reports
Manage the MR department costs
Maximise and optimise current Mineral Resource Assets to increase sustainability and longevity of mining operations
Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status

**Requirements**: Qualification and Skill

BSc Hons (Geology) Degree or National Diploma/B-Tech
6 years' relevant experience, preferably 2 years' managerial experience
Demonstrate advance understanding of Exploration Data Management experience
Demonstrate advance understanding of Exploration Field Geologist experience

**An experienced user of ArcGIS, Geosoft, and 3D packages**: GEMCOM, Minex and Geobank
