As part of our talent team in WB Motor Operations the Specialised Recovery Unit Manager manages the department tasked with the investigation, field operations and ultimate recovery of absconded clients and alienated goods.

The recovery process must be managed through active networks in the industry and across the country, finding hidden clients and bank assets.

Must have a strong risk identification and fraud management forensic background which will play a critical role in building technological systems to seek, find and return alienated assets. Requires a hands-on person who is willing to handle priority cases personally.

Are you someone who can:

- Ensures customer service solutions are aligned to the operational business plan
- Ensures resourcing decisions are aligned to the Transformation Plan
- Develops, supports and manages best practice collections or recoveries process to achieve targets within legislated and agreed deadlines
- Researches, designs and implements best practice customer service solutions
- Manages Service Level Agreements and contracts with internal and external stakeholders according to the procurement policy and site visits
- Ensures legislative compliance and alignment to group frameworks whilst fulfilling business objectives
- Manages the business processes for area of responsibility
- Manages Fleet vehicles, Fuel cards, E-tags ect
- Ensures customer excellence through interaction with internal and external customers throughout all business activities
- Manages and reports on relevant processes, using management information to guide best practice operational decisions
- Manages the required resources to enable business performance and achieve business objectives
- Implements performance management across the area of responsibility
- Participates in planned activities that are appropriate for own and staff development in area of responsibility
- Manages and controls costs in area of responsibility
- Manages and reports on cost usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
- Managed through active networks in the industry and across the country, finding hidden clients and bank assets.
- Responsible for legal compliance, National Credit Act and Debt Collectors Codes of conduct, developing new company policies and implementing them accordingly.
- Minimum Qualification - Matric
- Preferred Qualification - Post Secondary Education relevant to the position and our industry is preferred
- Experience - 5 to 8 Years experience within the role with key understanding of Collections Process and procedures
- Additional Requirements: Extensive travelling with the national regions required, must be comfortable navigating general geographical arears
