Support and develop OHS Policies and pograms
- Advising and instructing on various safety related topics (e.g Noise levels, use of machines, littering, etc)
- Conducting risk assessments and enforcing preventative measures
- Compile a full and comprehensive health and safety file for clients as per their standard
- Initiate and organize OHS training for employees and executives
- Stopping of any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Scheduled inspection of our workplace and site
- Scheduled toolbox talks with all employees on site
- Incident and accident investigation
- Preparation of reports on occurences and provide statistical information to upper management
- Advise on relevant trainings required to either staff/site workers
- Assist in revising and updating any method statements, SOP's and Risk Assessments
- Constantly updating all our safety files for any amendments or action taken
- Assist in any other office/admin work
**Job Type**: Permanent
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
