Newly created position whilst the company undergoes new restructuring. Large, well-established Durban based company in the need of an Infrastructure Manager to oversee the planning, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure across the business.

**Pur**pose of the role**:

- Strategic infrastructure planning
- Develop and execute cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Database management (SQL and Oracle)
- Design and maintain secure and reliable network architectures.
- Firewall and security planning and implementation.
- Backups and disaster recovery
- Team leadership and development

**Qualifi**catio**ns and Experience Required**:

- 10 years’ experience within the infrastructure area of the IT industry with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
- In depth knowledge and experience in servers, storage, networks and virtualisation
- Familiar with cloud technologies
