Intermediate Infrastructure Engineer role at BETSoftware Responsibilities Participate in design discussions with Senior Engineers. Assist with escalations from Infrastructure Engineer I. Participate in schedule tasks such as daily checklists. Participate in on-call rotation. Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise‑grade monitoring solutions. Contribute to application performance discussions and infrastructure outage investigations, providing monitoring observations and updates. Assist in schematically depicting system architectures, topologies, hardware, software and signaling links into complete system configurations. Build and maintain Group Policy to meet organizational security standards while increasing user productivity. Oversee and optimize the company's virtualization platform (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) ensuring high availability, resource allocation and performance. Design, deploy and manage virtual machines, managing snapshots, templates and cloning processes to support rapid deployment and recovery. Administer and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) across physical and virtual environments; patch, update, secure and troubleshoot OS‑related issues. Oversee Storage Area Network solutions, provisioning and managing storage volumes, performing regular health checks and managing data replication, backup and recovery. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years IT Infrastructure experience. Relevant industry certifications (A+/N+, MCP, MCSE, MCITP, VCP, etc.) are advantageous. Experience with Server Patching (WSUS). Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper‑V). Experience working with OS365, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory. Cloud experience is advantageous. Red Hat OpenShift certification (RHCE) is advantageous. Linux certification is advantageous. Networking certification (Network+, CCNA) is advantageous.
