Technical Administrator

**Main Purpose of the role**:
Procurement activities on behalf of the Technical Department for the Plant division. Perform roles and responsibilities in line with Group Procurement Policy, and Guidelines document
**Qualifications**:
- Grade 12 / Matric / N3 / National Vocational / Technical Certificate with Accounting and Maths
- Minimum of 2 -3 years in Administration in the same / similar / related role
**Responsibilities**:
- Create supplier database. Communicate with suppliers understanding best suppliers for required spares nationally
- Search for new suppliers who are more cost effective
- Obtain quotes for spares on instruction from Field Service Coordinator / Technical Manager
- Forward quotations to Technical Manager for approval on template
- Confirm request for purchase order with requisition number
- Assist creditors function in verifying order vs invoice
- Keep field service coordinator updated on quotations and orders as well as delivery of spares
- Address supplier vs customer inquiries
- Keep time sheets for field service mechanics based nationally and submit to Technical Manager for approval. Submit to payroll
- Handle pay disputes that may arise with payroll
- Keep traceable records electronically of supplier quotations and invoices as well as field service technician time sheets and all relevant SHEQ documentation
- Back up all electronic data on a daily basis
- Administration regarding Nimbus system as defined
- Update purchase report daily
