**About the Role**:
The **Envoyage Transactional Finance Team Leader** is responsible for overseeing the Transactional Finance (TF) Operations Team supporting the Envoyage brand (Flight Centre Travel Group’s Independent Travel Division), ensuring efficiency, accounting accuracy, and completeness in financial operations.

As the Team Leader you will be managing a team of accountants, debtors support member, and other admin support staff as required as well as an offshore team, the team structure can change and flexibility is required as a leader. The leader is responsible in ensuring the day-to-day tasks are completed, and strong financial control is maintained within the business and that strategic initiatives are supported.

A key to the success of the role will be a focus on people development, seeking and managing process improvements, improving payment solutions, attention to detail, flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to learning, acting as a business partner for the Envoyage Brand to ensure business success.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years in a Transactional Finance role.
- AP/AR experience beneficial.
- Added advantage is a qualification or part qualification/ studying towards a finance diploma/ certificate or other education.
- Assistant team leader or team leader experience is important, otherwise having attended FCTG leadership courses will be required.
- Strong EQ and ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools like Freshdesk, Omnis, FNB, Conferma etc.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to provide guidance and training to teams to support change management.
- Proven ability to resolve complex queries in a timely manner.
- Team player with a focus on achieving team goals.

**Requirements**:

- Strong understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
- High proficiency with financial software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and written skills in English

**Qualifications**:

- Matric (required)
- Accounting degree or certification (preferred)
