**Experience and Skills**:

- Have 2-4 years experience in Climate Change Management and development of emissions inventories.
- Be able to critically evaluate and analyse information or data.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have experience in report writing specifically writing of scientific reports and integrating scientific information therein.
- Other skills advantageous to the position comprise GIS, statistics or mathematics, data analysis, modelling or programming.

**General Requirements**:

- Develop emission inventories based on project data using performance guarantees or emission factors under supervision of senior scientists.
- Contribute to climate change impact assessments as part of the climate change team including reporting.
- Coordinate inputs to projects and work within tight deadlines and on multiple projects.
- Liaising with clients and project teams under supervision of senior team members.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and tender bids.
- Have strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally - A valid drivers license and own transport would be an advantage.
- Be a self-driven individual with a positive and proactive approach.
