**General Responsibilities**:

- Supervision of Dispatch Department
- Maintain contact with sales internal. as well as production manager/ warehouse inclusive of issue resolution

**KPA (Key Performance Area) Inherent to Job Description**

**Job Functions as per SOP of Company**:

- To make sure order quantity, manufactured quantity and goods given to dispatch are correct
- Overseeing and handling of relevant documents and delivery notes to accounts for invoicing
- Accepting returns and placing returns in allocated areas
- Following up with production with shortages and order queries
- Making sure the correct people are notified of any queries
- Making sure the drivers and assistants perform to company standards and policies and procedures
- Making sure the safe handling of manufactured goods
- Making sure the housekeeping in dispatch is in line with company standards
- Making sure the general safety of employees and goods are secure in dispatch department
- Route Trip Sheet instruction to forklift driver correcl and timous placement in loading bay.
- Make Sure that correct counts and double checks of product to be delivered is done with driver - quantity received, against produced, aganist delivery to order before leaving premises as per SOP
- Control and manage the stock warehouse as per S.O.P. and company process’s.
- Ensure stock figures are given timously and accurately on a daily basis/ month-end to the relevent departments
- To make sure that month end stock take is done timously
- To check and ensure that the truck inspection sheets are completed accurately as per SOP
- Report any stock issues and or discepancies to the relevant persons within good time
- Check the workflow on the shopware system
- Plan and task department employee work activities
- Fleet Maintenance management including overseeing of fines

**Targets Administration Housekeeping**

**Targets**:

- To ensure all departmental targets are met as set by management.

**General Administration**:

- To ensure all documents and reports are handed in complete and timeously to the accounts department
- To ensure all documents and reports within the dispatch department are completed in full, timeously and per SOP
- To ensure all documentation is filed and stored correctly

**General Housekeeping**:

- To ensure Dispatch area and vehicles are well maintained as per SOP and company housekeeping standards
- To make sure that the Housekeeping standards of the company are kept throughout and report to management.

**Quality Management**
- Adhere to company ISO standards
- Adhere to company Policies and Procedures
- Adhere to company Health & Safety and Housekeeping**Inherent Requirements**

**Minimum Qualification**
- Tertiary Education achieved and or Diploma / Degree
- Grade 12**Minimum Experience**
- 3 years in a Dispatch Supervisor operational role and or experience, preferably in the packaging industry

**Minimum Ability**
- Ability to work well under pressure and effective time management
- Organization and administrative skills
- Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good mathematical ability
- Practical experience and knowledge in Dispatch
- Practical experience and knowledge in stores and stock control
- Practical knowledge of manufactured boxes and corrugated board
- Experience in quality control
- General safety awareness
- Physical ability inherent to Job Requirements
