**Daily tasks**:

- Assist the Chef & Baker prepare meals for the cafe, fresh bread, cut ingredients, cook pizza
- Clean dishes, cutlery, glasses
- Prepare cutlery in serviettes, refill water bottles
- Bring stock from the storeroom to the shop, restock the shelves
- Clear dishes from customers tables
- Take orders from customers
- Wipe down chairs, tables, floors in the cafe
- Cleaning the bathrooms
- Cleaning the kitchen
- Organising the storeroom

**Responsible to**:

- Head Chef, Baker, Manager

**Responsible for**:

- All the above duties - keeping the cafe running smoothly

**In communication with**:

- Head Chef, Baker, Manager

**Education / Qualification and Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum Education: Matric

**Minimum Level / Years of Experience**:
2 Years’ experience in a similar position

**Competencies and Skills Requirements**:

- Basic Cooking Skills/ Methods, Cooking skills at a basic level across the required range of menu items
- Basic Literacy - Able to read, write and communicate adequately in the language of the workplace
- Numeracy - Able to perform basic calculations and work with numbers adequately

**Salary**: From R260.00 per day
