**Warehouse Supervisor**: Our team in **Cape Town** currently has an opening for a **Warehouse Supervisor** > **YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**: - **Responsibilities** Inventory control - Supervise the inbound and outbound stock movements and processes Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods (quality & quantity) Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that deliveries meet customers expectations/requirements Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out to ensure accuracy and minimisation of stock damages Organise and coordinate stock takes/cycle counts/variance check as per implemented SOP’s Manage quarantined and unsaleable/damaged stock Coordinate the movement of products between sites (Inter branch transfers) Ensure that the Goods return/Credit note process is followed through Stakeholder relationships - Respond to internal & external customer queries timeously Oversee planned job observations, works instructions and permits to work for the warehousing department Ensure routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment Coordinate and lead safety/tool box talks and operational meetings as scheduled Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees Enable the company’s HSE and Quality policies and processes, ensure applicable Non Conformances are investigated and closed off as per implemented Standard Operating Procedures Responsible for good house-keeping for the site, overseeing and reporting on general maintenance issues. Monthly reporting and general administration Support continual business improvement initiatives and change management Comply with company implemented policies, procedures, Health, Safety and Environment standards **YOUR PROFILE**: **Qualifications & Experience** Matric Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management/Operations or equivalent preferred Knowledge of Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures Minimum 3 years’ experience Operating in a coordinating/supervisory capacity within a fast paced, highly pressurised warehouse and distribution environment Hazchem handling and storage experience essential Chemical industry experience preferred Sound understanding of customer service, principles and practices Computer literacy - Minimum 3 years ERP knowledge, preferably SAP Sound knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996 including SANS 10231, 10234 and 10228.
