**GUEST RELATIONS MANAGER - Extreme adventure luxury destinations**
Our Client offers an extreme adventure destination experience which is at the top end of luxury and exclusivity. The company is multi-award winning with a high global reach of both clientele and employees.
They are looking for a **Guest Relations Manager** who will be the initial and ongoing point of contact with their Clientele. The role is characterized by long, unsociable work hours during season, with a 24/7 approach to work. There is more flexibility outside of the season
The role involves:
- Onboarding of all guests across their camps, including day trips and expedition clients
- Maintenance of the online program to reflect guest status
- Updating guest pre-trip comms in collaboration
- Managing relationships with external partners - hotels, transfers etc
- Responsible for all guest interactions in Cape Town
- Serves as the main contact for guests in Cape Town and responsible for communications with guests
- Liaison with hotels to confirm briefing venues
- Managing briefings which includes:
**The person**:
- 6-8 years’ experience in project management, event management and/or guest relations handling complex projects / events
- Proven track record and outstanding ability to be client facing (polished, confident, able to engage at all levels); able to hold their own with high net worth clientelle
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong project management skills - able to multi-task and handle multiple (and conflicting) priorities
- Agile, unflustered and able to problem solve
- Thrives under pressure, shows the tenacity to keep on going no matter what
- Experience in tourism an advantage but not essential
**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
