Requirements
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Diploma or BTech
- Minimum of five years’ proven experience in radio network

infrastructure operations
- A valid Code B driver’s licence
- Ability to work at heights
- Knowledge of the Electronic Communications Act, ICASA

Regulations and Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Key Performance Areas
- Ensure ongoing support and maintenance of the City’s Radio

Broadband networks
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the City’s telecoms

radio network infrastructure
- Perform the technical lead role for the expansion of the City’s radio

networks
- As a key stakeholder, work in close collaboration with the Plan and

Build team to ensure smooth takeover of newly built infrastructure

into operations
- Manage risks related to Radio infrastructure maintenance
- Manage staff accordingly and be technical lead and supervisor for

radio infrastructure maintenance projects
- Provide support to the head of operations on contracts.

**Note**: This senior role requires knowledge of a wide spectrum of

telecoms broadband network infrastructure and technologies with

specific in-depth expertise in broadband radio.
