Our _School in the Woods_ Pre-Preparatory seeks a Pre-primary** Teacher** who will joyfully guide our little ones as they take their first steps into formal learning from **January 2026.**

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- **Qualification**: A four-year degree in ECD or Foundation Phase.
- **Experience**: Minimum three years’ teaching experience in a pre-primary or equivalent early childhood setting.
- **Pedagogy**: Proven ability to implement **inquiry-based and play-based learning approaches**.
- **Tech skills**: Competence in using technology to enhance teaching and communication.
- **Values alignment**: Commitment to inclusive, child-centred education.
- **Personal qualities**: Adaptable, creative, organised, emotionally intelligent, and collaborative.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Includes but not limited to:

- Design and deliver an **age-appropriate, inquiry-based curriculum** that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
- Integrate **nature and outdoor learning** into daily routines, drawing on the rich environment of our _School in the Woods_.
- Cultivate a **nurturing and inclusive classroom culture** where every child feels valued and supported.
- Monitor and encourage each child’s **social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development**, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
- Engage and collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure holistic support for each learner.
- Participate in school events, initiatives, and community activities that celebrate diversity and belonging.
- Maintain high standards of classroom organisation, assessment, and reporting.
