**Requirements**:
- High school matric or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, such as data entry and using inventory management systems, is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the products against the purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Unload, unpack, and inspect products for damages or defects, and record any discrepancies or damages.
- Sort, label, and store products in their designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and efficient space utilization.
- Retrieve and prepare products for shipping, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely and efficiently move, stack, and retrieve products.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring stock rotation and minimizing shrinkage.
- Conduct regular warehouse maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, organizing, and repairing equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to improve overall operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for process enhancements or cost savings.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
