**Requirements**:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is advantageous
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar role is a requirement - cutting printed paper, preferably in a printing environment
- Relevant qualification as a Guillotine operator will be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in carrying out instruction and adhering to procedures
- Team Player but must be able to work independently as well
- Must be able to follow procedures strictly
- Able to work towards deadlines
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
- Able to work shifts and overtime as required (will be required to work straight night shift)
**Responsibilities**:
- Read the work ticket and formulate the correct course of action
- Prepare work area and substrate including ensuring that the machines are set up and programmed correctly
- Evaluate cut product (pull copies) for conformance to specification and sign off
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance
- Perform safety inspection of machine at start and end of shift
- Keep machine, equipment, materials and work area clean and neat
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Attending all training programmes identified for the position and departments is compulsory
- Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager
