**Job Purpose**:
Lecturing and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes

**Preferred Education**:
Ideal:
South African LLM

Alternatively:
South African 5 or 4-year degree (B.Proc and/or LLB)

Having been admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and/or having been admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa and having successfully completed pupillage is preferable. Foreign legal qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis under exceptional circumstances.

**Work Experience**
Lecturing experience or industry experience will be an advantage.

**Key Performance Areas**:
Preparation and lecturing as per the Module Guide

Teaching curriculum outcomes as per contract hours and stipulated per pre agreed timetable

Briefing students for assignments and providing feedback in a timeous manner

Presenting class marks and feedback to the MODULE DISCIPLINE LEADER and discuss appropriate interventions for improved student success

Actively engaging with current trends in teaching and learning strategies within The IIE VEGA environment.
