The Spa Supervisor at The Silo Hotel works closely with the Guest Relations Manager to ensure that the Spa team maintains the highest levels of guest satisfaction, service, quality, product knowledge and hygiene to contribute to the purpose of The Royal Portfolio, which is_ "To give our guests a complete experience and a perfect stay"._ **MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Assist in marketing of the spa and revenue generation - Effectively co-ordinate and supervise the operations of the Spa as deemed necessary - Address and resolve both guest and staff concerns - Assist with management of the Spa Therapists and Receptionist - Work in accordance with internal and external control procedures - Oversee stock take - Issuing stock to Therapists on a daily and weekly basis - Maintain duty rosters - Manage group bookings - Follow up on Maintenance issues - Perform treatments as required - Assist on Reception in the Spa when needed - Ensuring that staff follow the correct policies and procedures of the Spa **REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS** - Recognized spa qualification - CIDESCO, SAAHSP, ITEC, National Diploma - Minimum 5 years experience as a Spa Therapist, with at least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar senior position within a 5* environment/Cruise liner - Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. - Good planning and organizing skills to meet deadlines - Effective communication, problem solving, decision making and conflict management skills - Strong administration skills - Ability to work within a pressurized environment - Ability to use Initiative and be proactive - Ability to work without supervision and within a team - Attention to detail pertaining to area of responsibility - Required to work rostered shifts - Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance as per company standards South African citizenship is advantageous. A valid work permit is essential if you are not in possession of a South African ID document.
